The app does not require an account or login.
The app does not send your data to our servers (we do not operate any backend server for this app).
3. Data Stored on Your Device
All data stays on your device:
Learning progress (e.g. words you have selected, review history, sentences you write) is stored only on your device.
Vocabulary content (HSK word lists and definitions) is bundled in the app and used locally.
We do not have access to this data.
4. Device Features We Use
The app may use the following device features, with data processed only on your device:
Local storage – to save your learning progress.
Text-to-speech (TTS) – to pronounce Chinese words; speech is generated on your device using your device's TTS engine and language data.
Optional notifications – if you enable study reminders, notification settings are stored on your device.
No usage data or voice data from these features is sent to us.
5. Third Parties
App stores – If you purchase the app, the payment is handled by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment details. Their privacy policies apply to the purchase.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising in the app.
6. Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for general use.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
